A mother came to Faith Public School when she heard free places were being offered for the poor in the area. Her husband had recently died of a heart condition and she was desperate for help.

Thankfully, her 2 children, Srinu (boy) and Devi (girl), pictured here, were accepted and have been attending the school ever since it was opened.

The children are 2 of the poorest who attend the school. They live in a mud hut along with their mother (pictured). Their background is strongly Hindu.

Mum works for a wealthy family nearby washing and cleaning. From them she receives help to buy the children’s school uniform and any needed books. Life for them is hard but she knows that

God is being good to her by providing much coveted English Medium education for her children bringing hope for the future.
